Varden Zn-Pb-Ag-Au
Overview
- 30 sq. km permit area with zinc, lead, silver, gold and copper mineralisation + historic drilling.
- Style of mineralisation similar to the Cobar Ore field of Australia.
- Sulfidic shear zones with small surface footprint and large vertical extent.
- Untested drill targets identified by Dave Coller in 2004, consultant for previous company which never drilled the targets.
- Three styles of mineralisation:
- Bedding parallel Fe and Zn-Pb sulphide mineralisation.
- Shear-zone-hosted Cu-Au-As mineralisation, including remobilisation of Zn-Pb.
- Quartz-vein-hosted Cu-Au mineralisation.
